One of my firms clients, Tarion, Ontario's new home warranty program, lacked visual consistency and needed to build a strong brand presence online.

One of my biggest challenges was to art direct a series of photoshoots that set a visual baseline for their digital and print communications. The photoshoot served the purpose of creating a customized photo library with images so specific that stock photos couldn't satisfy. The customized photo library also helped steer their social media channels into the more consumer-friendly direction we were aiming for.

Tarion's main audience on social media were new home owners. From a visual perspective, their online channels felt corporate. To shift Tarion's visual identity to a more consumer-friendly feeling, we used brighter, higher contrast colour palettes, along with bolder typography, all whilst keeping on-brand.

I also developed guidelines for social content - this resulted in higher brand recall and engagement over the last three years.
